User Profile Videos are Live!

Today we are rolling out video intros for franchisees to all users. We tested this with beta users and found it to be the most impactful feature on the profile. High fidelity communication to build trust and interest from the best franchisors and prospective investors is mission critical.

As a prospective franchisee, you need to go beyond the numbers and tell the story of why a successful franchisor should trust you with their brand, their baby, in your territory. The best franchisors are selective. They turn down two of every three financially qualified prospective franchisees. A profile video is crucial for bringing the gap between being qualified and getting selected.

The best profiles use the video to share key information about themselves, including career highlights, professional experience, location, and industries of interest. We will now share best practices for creating a compelling video introduction that will stand out.

New Feature: Upload a User Profile Video

An authentic, concise and insightful video makes the profile come alive. It allows franchisors, co-founders and investors to connect with you on a human level, as well as contextualize your experience before ever meeting you.

Here is how to upload a video to your profile:
1. Go to your user profile (top right corner on Wefranch.com)
2. Click on the current pitch video field & upload your file
